Installation

Centos7 or Redhat7

Insert bootable Pen drive / DVD / Ethernet in pc à now start the pc load the boot menu à select the bootable device à now select the option Install centos 7 or Redhat à select language à next à now go to software selection  à select Gnome & select all the sub options of Gnome à done à go to installation destination & go to create partition à select I will configure partition à select HDD à done à manual partition à select partition type à standard partition à click on +(add) option à select à /(root) àgive size to / for ex. 100 GB à now with the same method create /boot and /swap (file system of swap will be swap itself. ) à done à accept change à start installation à now give root password and create one user à now reboot and after reboot à accept the licence and done à Installation is complete.

We can install the centos in 2 ways

1)  Command line mode – Mostly used in companies

2)  Graphical mode – Mostly used by beginner
